Matthew Baute married Leah Stader on May 22, 2010 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Madison, WI, where they exchanged vows before a large gathering of friends and family. The couple requested in lieu of wedding gifts that donations be made to either the Missionaries of Charity, founded by Blessed Mother Teresa to serve Christ in the poorest of the poor, or to Our Sorrowful Mother's Ministry, the healing retreat ministry where Matthew and Leah met and continue to serve. Please keep them in your prayers as they begin their new life together! |

Downloading the musical compositions on "Harmony & Balance" just got a whole lot easier with the addition of this new CD on iTunes. Since the release of the CD, we have received lots of positive feedback, and are finding that listeners are using the music on this CD for a variety of reasons. Some are using it for healing therapy, some to ease the stress of a daily commute, some during chemo treatments, others for "cool down" after a rigorous exercise workout, and others for spiritual and meditative reflection. Matthew recently had the opportunity to lead the music ministry for the 2010 Marian Conference held in Saint Louis at the Millennium Hotel. The 3 day event was attended by well over 1000 people and featured a variety of speakers, including Fr. Peter Prusakiewicz, who came from the Shrine of Divine Mercy in Poland, who brought with him a first-class relic of St. Faustina. In addition, the opening Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Robert Carlson. At the conference, Matthew had two additional highlights. First, he released his new instrumental CD "HARMONY & BALANCE" (hot off the press), and second (and most importantly) he proposed marriage to Leah, who said YES! Matthew's timing was perfect as the Gospel reading for Sunday was Jesus changing the water into wine at Cana. Congratulations to Matthew and Leah! |
